Dear Director,
in recent days that bring us closer to the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Italy in the government I take disruptive intent. Berlusconi did not lose the opportunity to destroy what belongs to everyone. After the outcry over the phrase "public school teachers inculcate principles other than those of families," the premier and education minister have denied everything, once again denying the obvious. The reality is that there is a pattern of de-legitimization of what unites us, of what made this country a nation, what helped shape a common identity as a people. Today the government in all its parts, including the League, has a different idea of \u200b\u200bthe country and the future. A future non-unitary, non-egalitarian, non-supportive, not based on the fundamental charter that is the Constitution which, as we recall a few days ago and Prodi Don Ciotti, is what protects us and brings us together. There is no investment on training, both basic and advanced, on the prospects of young people, culture. Just think of such films, which will see an increase in ticket prices. What we want is that children and young people are in front as possible to an annihilating television, impersonal, not at all stimulating them away from anything that could help them develop a critical sense. This is the design I would call "subversive" of this government and its president, who in the past few months desperately trying to accomplish: the creation of subjects unthinking, uncritical, and seconded. Therefore, it is the most vulnerable children, as less trained and naturally more permeable. For them, but above all "with" them, we must revive and vitality to the country to open a new phase, not only political but also social and cultural, that really propels us into the new millennium and bring us back to experience first hand 900.
